Web Hosting

What is web hosting? Web hosting is a service that provides a way to post a website onto the Internet. A web host, or web hosting service provider, is a business that provides the technologies and services needed for the website or webpage to be viewed on the Internet.

This is a question that often plagues new website owners. Do you need shared hosting, WordPress hosting, VPS hosting, or something else entirely?
The answer, unfortunately, is not always simple. It depends on a variety of factors, including the size and scope of your website, your budget, and your desired features.
Don't worry though! Chat with us and we'll help you find the right web hosting for your needs.

There are many differences between domain name and web hosting. In general, a domain is your identity on the internet. It's like a street address for your website. It's also what you type into your browser to get to a website.

A web host is the company that stores all of your website files and makes them available online.

You can create a website with our site builder, you can use WordPress, or hire a website designer

VPS Hosting

A VPS (Virtual Private Server) is a virtual machine that works on a dedicated server. VPS hosting is cheaper than a dedicated server, while offering a similar level of computing. VPS give you full root access, so you can install whatever operating system you want or not install any operating system at all if you prefer.

VPS is short for Virtual Private Servers, which are basically a simulation of a physical server, that give you more control and power. With a shared hosting account, you are sharing the server with other websites, which means that you have limited functions. With a VPS, you can choose your own operating system, and customize it any way you want. Also, your site will have more bandwidth and server space.

Yes, you require at least basic Linux and console knowledge to be able to use and manage your VPS.

Unfortunately not. We offer only Linux distributions at the moment.

Cloud Dedicated

A dedicated server is a server that is completely owned and operated by a person or company. In other words, the server is not shared with anyone else. Since dedicated servers are self-owned, the server owner can do whatever they want with the server. Some popular uses of dedicated servers are web hosting and game hosting.

A VPS is a virtual server that runs on a dedicated server, so there can be several VPS within the same server. A dedicated server is the complete server dedicated to your use: you install the operating system directly on the machine and you have control over the entire equipment.

Domain Names

A domain name is the web address of a site. It's generally used to tell people where to find that site. Before a website can be accessed by the public, it needs a numerical IP address in order for the server to route information about the website to those who are looking for it. A domain name is a human-friendly way to do this. Instead of remembering a long string of numbers, a user can simply remember a name. Without domain names there would be no way of accessing the Internet as we know it today.

TLD stands for Top Level Domain. Top Level Domain names are the last part of the URL of a Web site, like .com, .net and .org. While the first part of the address is the "Domain", the last part of the address is the TLD. TLDs are the last part of the domain name, while the first part is called the "domain extension" or "second level domain".

SSL Certificates

An SSL or Secure Socket Layer Certificate is a digital file that is used to encrypt and secure data in transit. This means that any information or data exchanged between your browser and the website is encrypted and disguised from hackers, thus making the site secure.

A CSR is a non-encrypted file that is used for authentication with a Certificate Authority. It is generated on your web server (or a third-party server) from the private key and its corresponding public key. CAs can verify if the private key was indeed issued by its owner. Also, the CSR has a number of other characteristics, such as a subject field, a public key field, an algorithm identifier, and extended key usage. The CSR is then sent to the CA, which will create the requested certificate and provide it to the owner.

The SSL certificate issuance process can take anywhere from 15 minutes to 3 business days to complete once an order has been placed. The issuance process usually takes 4 - 6 hours, but can take extra time depending on the type of certificate you ordered.

Google Workspace

Google Workspace is a cloud based office suite that allows small businesses and freelancers to store data, create and edit documents and manage emails. Google Workspace runs on the cloud and hence is extremely easy to access and share files. Google Workspace is free to use and all the files created in Workspace are stored in the cloud, which means that you can access your data from any computer, anywhere in the world.

Workspace Gmail includes business email with your custom domain, twice the storage capacity of free Gmail, 99.9% uptime, is ad-free, has 24/7 support by phone and email, and much more.
